Meanwhile, letsgodigital.com also mentioned that the D760, the successor to the more than two year old D750, a popular FX-format SLR camera that offers a mix of compactness, versatility and speed. And above all, this camera offers a great image quality and impressive specifications, including a weatherproof housing, a 24,3MP full frame sensor, an ISO range of ISO 50-51200, a fast and accurate 51-point AF system.

Another hot rumors about Nikon D760 also reported on redsharksnews.com, the D760 will equipped with 4K video recording at 30 frames per second and 1080p up to 60fps, plus a crazy peak ISO rating of over 3,280,000, giving it the ability to see in darkness. Other specs include:

  • 24 MP sensor
  • 4K up to 30fps
  • 1080p up to 60fps
  • ISO 102700-3280000
  • 14-bit RAW

Another hot news mentioned on stuff.tv that the D760 (if it’s really coming) could be the company’s new “entry-level” full framer, coming in at a similar spec and price point to the Canon 6D Mk II. The stuff.tv also quoted that some online rumours claim the D760 will be a “mini D5”, with a similar design to and the same sensor as the £5100 Nikon D5. Let's hope so - because that's one hell of a camera. Many Nikon authors and fans are hoping that the Nikon D760 will be equipped with features and technologies that do not yet exist in the predecessor, the D750.

According to photographylife.com, perhaps Nikon can put a Sony-made BSI sensor on the D760 for better overall IQ. I really hope Nikon uses the new Multi-CAM 20K from the D5 on the D760, but it is not likely to happen, since it is not an action camera and the AF system will be used on only premium Nikon cameras for a few more years. The writer also said Nikon should definitely integrate 4K video shooting into the D760 – it would make a phenomenal camera for videographers.

When we talk about Canon, the old rival of Nikon also will launch Canon 6D Mark II. The likely specs? A 24 or 25MP full frame sensor, tilting touchscreen, improved Dual Pixel autofocus, and 1080p at 60fps,  and have a modest upgrade to a 25MP sensor. Other specs include:

  • 4K up to 30fps
  • 1080p up to 60fps
  • 25 MP sensor
  • Dual SD Card slots
  • Articulating screen
  • New super-telephoto lens
  • To be announced Spring/Summer 2017
