Sony has introduced a new mirrorless
camera, the Sony Alpha 5000 or the α5000, a compact camera that features a 20.1MP APS-C CMOS
sensor, Bionz X processor, and built-in Wi-Fi. Sony bills the α5000 as 'the world's lightest interchangeable lens camera' because it weighs 210g (7.4 oz.)
without card, battery, or lens. It’s seemed that the a5000 seems a natural
extension of the NEX-5 line.
